  My policy under amerihealth was very good and I had great coverage, no issues with bills being sent to me, etc. The only HUGE problem I had was that I called 6 months before my 26th birthday to see exactly when I aged out of this policy since it was under my father's plan. I was lied to and told I was covered for a full calendar year until I turned 27, when in fact i was terminated in my birth month. I ended up finding out in the hospital I had no insurance. I was thankfully able to pay the $1,000 for COBRA. Without that I would have been completely uninsured during my hospital stay. The company lacks trained staff who can help their customers!
